Intelligent Design.

Is there a designer as universe creator? I believe that there is, and that it takes less faith to believe in a Creator, which I believe is God, than to believe in randomness. We as people believe in intelligent design and we give credit to those who design. Whether it is a building, art, technology, like the computer I am typing on, or the combustion engine. As the author Norma L. Geisler states in his book When Skeptics Ask: “All designs imply a designer” (Geisler 20). None of the above items is believed to just happen under chance. All of those items, although complex to me, are no complex to the designer. When we realize that designs have a designer, than we can easily understand that the universe, as a great design, has a designer. One might contend that the evolution or the ‘Big Bang Theory” is a plausible scenario. I struggle to understand the science behind intelligent design come from no creator. There is no scientific evidence that chance has created anything, in fact it takes more faith to believe in chance. “One Scientist figured the odds for a one –cell animal to emerge by pure chance at 1in 104000 (Geisler 22). The complexities of humans and all other animal life to come from a chance bang are not measurable or comprehendible. Where did the natural material come from to start the evolution? How did the reaction of a bang without an equal reaction come from? There is no evidence that organism are currently evolving from material into animals or humans in current process. I personally asked, where does God come from? That question is the same mystery when we apply it to the material needed to create this universe or the “Big Bang Theory”. With a creator the only question we have is our own faith.

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters" (Genesis 1:1-2 NIV).

“For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.  He is before all things, and in him all things hold together” (Colossians 1:16-17, NIV).

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well” (Psalms 139:13-14, NIV).
